A designation gives the grade, the thickness in millimetres and the coating. Check the thickness against the span and the load before choosing the grade.
Hot-rolled sheets keep a raw surface suited to welding and painting. Cold-rolled sheets offer a smoother surface and tighter thickness tolerances.

Cut dimensions are held within plus or minus 2 millimetres. The exact tolerance is stated on each product page.
Yes. The 3.1 inspection certificate is available for every reference and can be downloaded from your order once it has shipped.
Brushed, mirror and pre-painted finishes are delivered with a peelable film. Raw and galvanised sheets are not.
