What is the cutting tolerance?

Cut dimensions are held within plus or minus 2 millimetres. The exact tolerance is stated on each product page.

Can I get a material certificate?

Yes. The 3.1 inspection certificate is available for every reference and can be downloaded from your order once it has shipped.

Choosing within this range

Every reference of this range states its thickness, format and finish. Two points help you pick the right one.

Reading a sheet designation

A designation gives the grade, the thickness in millimetres and the coating. Check the thickness against the span and the load before choosing the grade.

Flatness and tolerances

Hot-rolled sheets keep a raw surface suited to welding and painting. Cold-rolled sheets offer a smoother surface and tighter thickness tolerances.

Frequently asked questions

What our customers ask before ordering a sheet.

The teardrop steel sheets are distinguished by their teardrop pattern and have anti-slip properties whether the environment is dry, greasy or damp. Moreover, their production process makes them virtually indestructible. These surfaces provide excellent resistance against effects of rolling of vehicles, abrasion and impact. The height of the pattern is set within the following ranges, at the discretion of the manufacturer:

if the thickness of the sheet is greater than 3mm: from 1 to 2.2 mm
if the thickness of the sheet is less than 3mm: 0.5 to 2.2 mm
