What is the cutting tolerance?

Cut dimensions are held within plus or minus 2 millimetres. The exact tolerance is stated on each product page.

Can I get a material certificate?

Yes. The 3.1 inspection certificate is available for every reference and can be downloaded from your order once it has shipped.

Is the finish the same on both faces?

Brushed and mirror finishes are applied on one face. The other face keeps the 2B mill finish.

Reading a stainless designation

A designation gives the grade, the dimensions in millimetres and the finish code. The grade sets the corrosion resistance, the finish sets the appearance.

Handling and protective film

Polished finishes are delivered with a peelable film to be removed after installation. Avoid contact with carbon steel tools, which leaves rust marks.

They are valued for their aesthetic appearance, high mechanical properties, corrosion resistance or ductility. They are easy to be deformed and are known for good weldability (longitudinal or helical).
